I have a new blog

Actually, that should read "WE have a new blog". Blair and I have decided to merge together into one blog. We hope that a) that will give us twice the likelihood of updating it on a somewhat regular basis since two people will be contributing to it, b) there will be more to write about, and c) we will keep each other accountable to write. *fingers crossed*

Why I like living on my own...

Now that I know I won't be living as a single gal for much longer, I'm coming up with all the things that I love about living alone. I know, it's a form of torture. But here are some of them:

1. If I want, I can simply eat a bowl of cereal instead of having to cook.
2. I don't have to worry about someone else not paying the bills.
3. I am the sole person responsible for the mess...and the clean.
4. I'm completely in charge of the remote control.
5. The decorations are all mine and can be arranged just how I like them. And my kitchen is organized the way that makes sense to me.
6. Quiet if I want it quiet. Loud if I want it loud.
7. I can sing in the shower without being embarrassed.
8. Hot water is all mine.
   
9. I can go to bed whenever I want. I can stay on the computer or watch tv until 2 am without bugging anyone else.
10. The heat can stay turned to 55 to save money. I can always put on more layers to warm up.

But I have to say, I'm definitely looking forward to having a husband to live with too!

1. A cooking buddy. It makes it leaps and bounds better to have someone cooking alongside you. And then I also get to eat yummy food instead of cereal all the time.
   
2. Someone to help with the cleaning chores that I despise.
3. Snuggling while watching movies.
4. Someone to talk with.
5. A protector after watching Criminal Minds marathons.
6. Hanging out with my best friend all the time.
7. A built-in friend for site-seeing adventures.
8. My very own handy man Mr. Fix It.
9. Someone to hold me when I cry. Laugh with me when I laugh.

It's going to be an adjustment, but there are a lot of things I'm looking forward to! Only 113.70 days left! :)

I'm getting MARRIED

On Christmas Day 2010, Blair asked my parents for their blessing.
On February 5th, 2011, Blair asked me to be his wife.
On July 23, 2011, we will both say "I do".

AND I'M REALLY EXCITED!!!
